This is Miro Vineyard's flagship red wine, only made in exceptional years. Each Miro vintage is the product of careful viticulture and wine-making flair. Aged for 12 months in new, tight-grained burgundy barrels from the centre of France, this wine has nuances of nutmeg, rosemary, violets and dried rose petals. Miro is silkier than silk, reaching an elegant expression of the Bordeaux blend genre, rarely achieved in New Zealand.
